It’s a rare experience to have one’s high expectations exceeded, but that was exactly our experience with a one-week rental of this remarkably appointed and stunningly decorated apartment near St. Germaine de Pres.

I fear writing too much would suggest I’m a shill, so I will offer a few highlights, which include interior design worthy of a magazine pictorial, a remarkable and eclectic array of art, a contemporary kitchen, a Master Suite bathroom which is a marble laden extravaganza. There is another three-quarter bath, also marble laden and the shower head is one of the 3 best I’ve ever experienced. Washer and dryer a great perquisite when staying an extended period and the street is not only quiet, but within 100 meters of a gourmet grocery, a quintessential Parisian fromagerie, two excellent wine shops, boulangerie and blocks and blocks of outstanding shopping , restaurants and art galleries.

In short, I couldn’t write a better review and one literally has to see it to believe it. It made for a remarkable trip and I offer this with some perspective, having stayed at the Four Seasons George V in a suite. I would suggest this over that without hesitation.

Last but not least, this lease came with the incomparable Concierge services of a Mr. Rik Gitlin, who not only procured hard-to-get reservations for us at many different spots in Paris, but also kindly modified times and dates, given our short notice requests. He also provided transportation arrangements and offered suggestions for the “not too touristy” tastes of adventurous travel sorts like ourselves.

This is a can’t miss.
